Curing Cancer isn’t good for Big Pharma…

The truth of a theory can never be proven; for one never knows if future experience will contradict its conclusions.

According to the World Health Organization each year 8.8 million people die from cancer, mostly in low and middle income countries.

Did you know that cancer is one of the most common causes of death in the world today? For instance, the American Cancer Society — in a recent report confirmed that cancer is the second most common cause of death in the US and accounts for nearly 1 of every 4 deaths.

Are you aware that cancer is not hereditary? Not really, in the true sense of the word. Hereditary means that you get a trait such as eye color or an illness from the genes you inherit from your parents. The cause of cancer is not as simple as that.

According to Dr. David Gorski, “cancer is not a single disease, it’s hundreds of diseases, and although there are many common themes in cancer, such as loss of responsiveness to growth signals with a resultant ability to grow unchecked. Other common capabilities of cancer cells include evasion of programmed cell death (apoptosis), inducing the surrounding tissue to provide a blood supply (angiogenesis), evading the immune system, and invading the blood or lymphatic systems to travel elsewhere in the body and take up shop in other organs, such as liver, lung, or bone. Although there are, again, common molecular themes by which cancers do this, individual cancers acquire these necessary (to the cancer) abilities by many different ways.

Even cancers arising from the same cell type can be quite different. For instance, the breast cancer that killed my mother-in-law was a rare spindle cell variant, which is quite different from the much more common invasive ductal carcinoma that is estrogen and progesterone receptor positive. Indeed, even within individual cancers, different populations of cells can be quite different. In many solid tumors, there are cells now referred to as “stem cells.” Personally, I consider this term a bit of a misnomer that I really don’t like because these cells are not really pluripotent, and the cell types into which they can differentiate are rather limited. Moreover, this nomenclature has also made the concept of the cancer stem cell more controversial scientifically than it really needs to be. What we are really talking about are a relatively small population of cells in many tumors that are endlessly self-renewing and, in general, resistant to chemotherapy. In mice, these are the only cells that can actually form a new tumor when transplanted into a new mouse, and these are the cells that appear to be responsible for relapse after chemotherapy and radiation therapy. Indeed, cancer progression can be viewed as being due to a case of evolution in which the tumor cells that survive selection to continue to grow are the ones that become best at doing all the things that tumor cells need to do to evade the body’s defenses and overcome its growth control signals.

Moreover, not only is cancer not a single disease, but individual cancers are made up of multiple different clones of cancer cells under selective pressure to become ever more invasive and deadly. Looking at it this way, it’s a wonder we don’t all die of cancer. We do, however, virtually all have small foci of cancer within us, as I’ve pointed out before. Yet most of us do not develop cancer, and fewer of us end up dying of cancer, even though cancer is currently duking it out with heart disease as the number one cause of death in industrialized societies. Fortunately, the steps required for cancer to become deadly are difficult and numerous, and the body’s defenses against cancer are formidable,” Gorski continued.

Notably, have you ever asked yourself why a cure for cancer has not happened yet? Despite all the breakthrough claims?  It seems like almost every day, we hear about another miraculous advance in cancer treatment and yet, our loved ones keep dying of cancer. What’s up with that? Are greedy drug companies holding back a promising treatment? Would the FDA kill a wonder drug? Have corporate scientists refused to accept new ideas? Your guess is as good as mine.

It’s incredulous how the death rate from cancer hasn’t changed in the past 50 years! And we all sit by and believe this is possible — allowing our family and friends to pass away in the interim….with no other options. No care to even lift a finger to research and discover if there are any options outside of big pharma. I don’t mean to sound cold and judgmental — just trying to get you to see my point which is, there are other options!

According to Professor and lead cancer researcher Paul Workman, ”it’s very unlikely there will ever be a single ‘cure’ because cancer is made up of more than 200 different diseases – like breast, lung, bowel, prostate and blood cancers – and the latest molecular research is breaking these classes down into many more sub-groups. Different targeted treatments are needed for each sub-type – an approach called ‘personalized medicine.’”

Tripping Over The Truth

Interestingly, last week I watched an amazing interview by Regina Meredith on the Gaia TV network. Author Travis Christofferson was discussing his book, Tripping Over the Truth: The Metabolic Theory of Cancer. Briefly, Tripping over the Truth follows the story of cancers proposed metabolic origin to modern laboratories around the world. The author takes the reader on a journey through time and science that results in an astounding connecting of the dots with profound implications. He breaks down and expounds on humanities struggle to understand the cellular events that conspire to form malignancy. By the end of the interview I arrived at a conclusion that challenged everything I thought I knew about the disease. I felt that possibly the reason for the failed war against cancer stems from a flawed paradigm that categorizes cancer as an exclusively genetic disease! What if it’s not?!!Christofferson also brought up, Tissue Architecture theory (a part of an organism consisting of a large number of cells having a similar structure and function)  – which simply means the default state of any cell is cell division. “It’s what keeps a cell in check, living in the multicellular organism is the tissue architecture. So when your cells are in a healthy tissue architecture, they cooperate with the collective. But once that architecture breaks down through inflammation, through carcinogens — you then release those negative controls from the tissue architecture and cells are then off racing towards neoplasm…towards cancer.”

In my opinion Tripping Over the Truth provides a fresh and hopeful perspective. It explores the new and exciting non-toxic therapies born from the emerging metabolic theory of cancer. Therapies that may one day prove to be a turning point in the struggle against our ancient enemy.

If you know someone who has suffered or suffering from cancer you owe it to them to dig deeper and start questioning the system. You can start by picking up Tripping Over The Truth.  To find out more about Christofferson please click here  >>   to be redirected.

Celebrities who burnt brightly but died too soon…

It was April 5th, 1994. Lead singer of the famous rock group, Nirvana, Kurt Cobain was found dead in his green house of an apparent self inflicted shot gun blast to the head. This outcome however, did not settle the public. Right away the people questioned if he really did kill himself. Or if somebody killed him…..

Continuing with my series of blogs on the Illuminati:

Dates are of much importance for these type of Hollywood  rituals, as we saw with the passing of Philip Seymore Hoffman on Imbolg; a sacrifice holiday the pagans used to observe at the beginning of February. When I saw that Bobbi Kristina was found unconscious in a bathtub (again), the hairs on the back of my neck stood up.

The video below titled “The Final Code in the Bobbi Kristina Brown – Music Industry Ritual Sacrific,” is courtesy of   MrCati on Youtube.

What was also strange about this timing was that the  Lifetime channel premiered a bio about Whitney Houston just days before Bobbi’s 1st near death incident.

Music Industry Ritual Obsession Nuggets:

1. We’ve  covered many times before on this website that award shows and highly viewed events which are in-turn used as rituals. The Illuminati practice occult magick and the first rule of magic is that it requires a “participating” audience. This is why they are so out in the open with these symbols and rituals; they require you as the viewer to participate.

2. Before Whitney Houston passed away from this life, the singer was supposed to perform “Jesus Loves Me” at the Grammys, which was in stark contrast to the agenda the other performers of that night had. For example, you may remember, that was the night Nicki Minaj did an exorcism of her alter ego.

Just 5 days after the only child of the late, great singer Whitney Houston Bobbi Kristina was found face down in a bath tub at her home in Roswell, Georgia her family is purportedly contemplating on whether they will discontinue life support.

To recap, the 21 year old was found unresponsive in a bath-tub at the home she shared with long time beau/husband, Nick Gordon on Saturday. According to multiple reports, Bobbi was placed in a medically-induced coma and was reported to be breathing with the help of a ventilator. During tests for brain activity, she briefly opened her eyes and doctors found ‘minimal’ improvement in her brain function.

As many fans may remember Houston died in a bathtub from an ‘accidental’ drug overdose almost exactly three years ago, in tragically similar circumstances. Authorities found a dozen prescription drug bottles in her Beverly Hills Hotel suite and listed heart disease and cocaine use as contributors, but concluded that she accidentally drowned.

As to Bobbi , according to TMZ, family and friends are coming to the hospital to say goodbye.

Her father, singer Bobby Brown released a statement to let everyone know “the truth,” about his daughters condition:

”If we issued a statement every time the media published a false report regarding this matter, that’s all we would be doing 24 hours a day. This is false, just as is the vast majority of the other reporting that is currently taking place.”

As of Thursday Bobbi Kristina was reportedly still on life support, despite multiple mainstream media outlets reporting otherwise.

Interestingly, Attorney Christopher Brown, of Brown & Rosen issued a statement in regards to her ‘marriage’ with Gordon.

“We are currently investigating the events that led to the hospitalization of Bobbi Kristina. To correct earlier reports, Bobbi Kristina is not and has never been married to Nick Gordon. We continue to request privacy in this matter. Please allow for our family to deal with this matter and give Bobbi Kristina the love and support she needs at this time.”

Although there is no official word on Bobbi Kristina improving, it is still a relief to know that her father and the doctors at Emory University Hospital have not given up on her yet.

Our thoughts and prayers remain with Bobbi Kristina and her family in their time of need.

Remembering Whitney Houston – 1 Year After Her Sudden Death

It’s still a shock to many of her fans that the super star, Whitney Houston is no longer with us. Houston was remembered yesterday at the 2013 Grammy Awards by her peers. Below is what some celebrities had to say on the red carpet of the Grammys last night.

Report: Whitney Houston accidentally drowned in bathtub

Whitney Houston appears to have suffered a heart episode before accidentally drowning in the bathtub of a Beverly Hills hotel suite, according to coroner’s officials who listed cocaine use as a contributing factor.

The autopsy results were released Thursday after weeks of intense speculation over how the 48-year-old pop star died.

Houston had battled drug addiction for years, and the coroner’s office found traces of several drugs — including marijuana, the anti-anxiety medication Xanax, the muscle relaxant Flexeril as well as Benadryl — in her system. But the coroner’s office concluded that those drugs did not contribute to her death.

Cocaine did play a role, though officials would not say how much of the drug was in her system. Craig Harvey, the coroner’s operations chief, said the toxicology findings “suggested chronic usage.”

“She could have had a heart attack,” rendering her unconscious, and then become submerged in the filled tub, said Ed Winter, the coroner’s deputy chief for operations.

A law enforcement source said that no cocaine was found in Houston’s room at the Beverly Hilton Hotel but that bottles of various medications were recovered. The autopsy found that the singer suffered from a pre-existing condition known as atherosclerotic heart disease.

David Campbell, a retired captain for the coroner’s office, said the disease is often linked to blockages of blood flow to the heart.

Use of cocaine and other narcotics would intensify the dangers, he said. Cocaine can constrict blood vessels and reduce blood flow, he said.

In an interview with ABC News in 2002, Houston acknowledged using cocaine as well as marijuana and drinking heavily at times. She strongly denied using crack cocaine.

“Crack is cheap. I make too much money to ever smoke crack,” she said in the interview. “Let’s get that straight. OK? We don’t do crack. We don’t do that.”

Last May, Houston’s spokeswoman said the singer was going back into rehab.

Cocaine has played a role in several high-profile deaths among entertainers. In 1982, John Belushi died of a combined injection of cocaine and heroin known as a speedball at the Chateau Marmont on the Sunset Strip. Fellow “Saturday Night Live” performer Chris Farley died of an accidental overdose of cocaine and morphine in Chicago in 1997.

Unlike in the Jackson case, Winter said no further investigations are planned. Beverly Hills police said detectives will prepare a final report, due to be released in two weeks, after they review the coroner’s findings.

Investigators had served subpoenas on doctors as well as at the pharmacies where Houston obtained the prescriptions they found in her hotel room. But officials said they don’t believe any of those medications played a role in her death. Authorities did not say how long those drugs had been in her system.

Houston was found submerged in the bathtub of her hotel room the afternoon of Feb. 11 by an assistant. Beverly Hills Fire Department paramedics performed CPR on the singer for about 20 minutes before pronouncing her dead.

She was in Beverly Hills for music industry titan Clive Davis‘ annual pre-Grammy party that night at the Hilton. Her death cast a pall over the Grammy Awards, which took place the next day.

In the days before her death, Houston had been acting strangely, skipping around a ballroom, doing handstands near the hotel pool and perspiring heavily. Two days before her death, she dropped by the rehearsals for the pre-Grammy party. A Grammy staffer said that as reporters interviewed Davis and singers Brandy and Monica, Houston was dancing just off camera to make them laugh.

Davis, who discovered Houston and shepherded her recording career, declined through a spokeswoman to comment on the coroner’s report.

Houston’s family said they hope the autopsy allows them to move on with their lives.

“We are saddened to learn of the toxicology results, although we are glad to now have closure,” said Patricia Houston, the singer’s sister-in-law and manager, in a statement to the Associated Press.

Associated Press and the Los Angeles Times contributed to this report.

Bobbi Kristina tells Oprah: I still talk to Whitney Houston

Whitney Houston’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina, 19, says she’s doing “as good as I possibly can” since her mother died last month.

Bobbi Kristina Brown made the comments in an interview with Oprah Winfrey that aired Sunday on OWN. The 19-year-old said she still senses her spirit: “I feel her passing through me all the time.”

She even gets visits from Houston at their home, Brown said. “Lights turn on and off, and I’m like, ‘Mom, what are you doing?’ I can still laugh with her and still talk to her.”

She described her mother as her best friend, her sister, her confidant — “my everything.”

The mini, Whitney Houston, says she plans to continue in her mother’s footsteps by singing, acting and dancing.

Whitney Houston’s will: Ex-husband Bobby Brown doesn’t get a cent

(Los Angeles Times) Whitney Houston’s will and estate leave no room for confusion. Everything goes to a single heir: Bobbi Kristina Brown, 19, the late singer’s one and only child.

And ex-husband Bobby Brown gets nothing.

That’s what attorney Kenny Meisalas, who represents Houston, told the Associated Press this week. Unlike other celebrity estates that may be subject to disputes and dueling survivors trying to get their hands on the riches, Houston’s estate was apparently well-managed and organized. Meisalas said the execution of the will was quite “straightforward.”

“Things with the family have been very smooth, no problems,” he told the news service. He added that everything was proceeding normally, and that he didn’t anticipate any challenges to the will.

Fulton County Probate Court Judge Pinkie T. Toomer in Atlanta on Wednesday approved the will, according to the AP. Houston’s sister-in-law and manager, Pat Houston, was recognized as the estate’s administrator.

The Ministry of Gossip, reports that money from the estate will go into a trust until Houston’s daughter turns 21, with a subsequent payment at age 25 and the rest at age 30. Houston’s daughter will break her silence on Sunday, when a prerecorded interview with Oprah Winfrey is slated to air.

Unclear, however, is what the estate entails and how much Bobbi Kristina Brown will inherit.

Houston is said to have struggled financially over the years despite being one of the country’s most successful singers. But it’s hard to separate rumor from truth. The tabloids have portrayed Houston as suffering for years under the control of ex-husband Bobby Brown, suggesting that the pair squandered her fortune with reckless spending and drug use. There have also been reports that Houston borrowed heavily against an upcoming album.

Such a debt load, if true, might be erased in the wake of her posthumous success. Houston’s death last month at the age of 48 sent her record sales soaring. This week alone sees four Houston albums in the top 20 positions on the Billboard Top 200 chart, with her “Greatest Hits” album at No. 2.

Houston, 48, died in a Beverly Hills hotel room Feb. 11. She was found submerged in a bathtub just hours before she was scheduled to attend a pre-Grammys soiree hosted by her longtime mentor, Clive Davis. A cause of death has not yet been determined, in part because toxicology tests are still pending.

Whitney Houston Open-Casket Photo Sparks Outrage

NEW YORK, NY  (CBS) — The National Enquirer is causing a stir after publishing a photo purported to be Whitney Houston in an open casket.

The cover image sits alongside the caption: “Whitney: The Last Photo! Inside Her Private Viewing.”

It’s a bold move even for the Enquirer, especially considering the tight constraints Houston’s family put on the media during the late singer’s wake and funeral. Several media outlets have since re-posted the magazine shot online.

The photo was reportedly taken at the Whigham Funeral Home in New Jersey. It’s unclear how the Enquirer obtained the still-unverified shot.

In the image, Houston is seen in a purple dress with a brooch pinned to her chest. According to the Enquirer headline, the singer was buried wearing $500,000 worth of jewelry with gold slippers on her feet.

Since its publication on Wednesday, the photo has ignited an outrage against the tabloid on Facebook and Twitter.

In response to the reaction, publisher Mary Beth Wright told, “I thought it was beautiful,” referring to the photo.

Still, it’s not the first time the Enquirer has shocked readers. In 1977, it published a picture of Elvis Presley in his casket. Three years later, the magazine followed suit after John Lennon’s assassination.

Houston was laid to rest on Saturday in her hometown of Newark, N.J. — a week after she was found dead in her hotel room at the Beverly Hilton. She was 48.
