 ****Awakening your Heart Chakra****

The Heart Chakra (Anahata) – A wellspring of Love; Warmth, Compassion, Joy and Peace — for all Humanity, and is located in the center of the chest at the Heart level.

Introduction to Anahata ChakraAnahata = Heart (Compassion, Divine Love)

The Anahata (4th Heart Chakra) — displays conscience and compassion when it is balanced. It’s all about how you manifest love, forgive others, and your feelings. This is a powerful Chakra, obviously. Here we have arrived to the Center of the Seven. (7) — 3 above, 3 below. (see picture above) Matter and Spirit united. This is a very powerful location in the body. It is directly connected to the Third Eye and the Crown Chakra. When this Chakra is overactive, the Ego will take over and there will be a lack of love in the heart of the person. People with a Heart Chakra out of balance will not want to go out of their way for others. Narcissistic is a good description. In some cases the person will appear to have no sense of self. (Walking Zombies??) There is no good will toward others.

  • Heart Chakra Affirmations to repeat daily:

I Love Myself.
I AM worthy of Love.
I forgive effortlessly. Forgiveness sets me free.
I forgive myself. I am wiser now and create a new reality.
I forgive everyone who has hurt me.
I send Love to their heart.
I have an abundance of Love to offer Others.
I give and receive Love easily and effortlessly.
Love is the core of my being. It is my Natural state.
I am a well spring of Love and Compassion.
I am a Child of the Universe.
I am LOVE.

Anahata also allows us to recognize and get in touch with the sacred and fundamental truth that runs through all of life and connects everything together. The “way of the heart” or the “path of the heart” is living your life from this energy center of love. It means living your life with loving kindness and compassion towards others. It means that your heart is open to others and you inspire kindness and compassion in others. You create safe and supportive environment. Others can feel your love and warmth. They feel loved and accepted unconditionally. People feel at peace around you, as there is no judgment coming from you. When Anahata is open and energy is flowing freely, you are not only loving to others, you are also loving to your self!

****Food That Fuels The Heart Chakra****

An important element to keep in consideration while attempting to connect consciously to your Heart Chakra, is food. Leafy vegetables like spinach, kale, dandelion greens are very beneficial to your heart on the physical level, as well as on the energetic level. Also AIR vegetables like broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, celery, squash…etc, and liquids like water….. are also important to aid the heart energy center.

When You Come to a Fork in the Road, Take It!

CROSSROADS — a place where two roads split… otherwise known as Forks in The Road. In religious circles, as well as folklore — “crossroads” also represent a location “between worlds,” and as such…. a place where mysterious events can take place. Symbolically, it can mean a locality where two realms touch and therefore representing duality, a place literally “neither here nor there.” What are your thoughts on Crossroads? Share with us below in the comments.

Forks in the road...a good thing, indeed.

“WHEN PEOPLE COME TO A FORK, THEY MUST CHOOSE EXACTLY WHERE THEY WANT TO GO. IT IS A PLACE OF CHOICE. USUALLY THEY HAVE FOREKNOWLEDGE OF THE WAY TO GO. EVERYONE HAS SUCH KNOWLEDGE. BUT THE DIVINER GOES BETWEEN THE PATHS TO A SECRET PLACE. HE KNOWS MORE THAN OTHER PEOPLE. HE HAS SECRET KNOWLEDGE.” –
