“Emotion” stuffed with hooks and positive vibes….

Renowned recording artist Lourdes Baron is definitely starting 2017 off right with her hit track titled “Emotion” featuring Haguy Mizrahi. In this new single Lourdes shows off her versatility, demonstrating how she is not, WILL NOT, can not be defined by individual lanes or labels. This endearing anthem will take the listener on a familiar journey through the mind, the cosmos and back again. When she purrs “wherever you go I’ll cry me a river that leads to your ocean..” I, and many others were instantly captivated if you/they had not already been mesmerized by that moment in time. It adds up to a pop, rockish master class, rifling through the seventies and eighties sounds and stacking hooks on hooks on hooks. But regardless of the genre the default mode is triumph.

Lourdes D. Baron ~ Emotion

Lourdes reinvents herself accordingly and Haguy Mizrahi is kicking the rocks too. Rather than slamming into action. A team effort detonating oneness like an infinity symbol. They must be strategizing for the long road of success ahead. I’m a new fan of the singer and will be patiently waiting to hear what 2017 will in fact bring. What will she coo next to win my heart?

Lourdes Duque Baron Mixes Assertiveness With Vulnerability On Her New Record

Lourdes D. Baron ~ "Lets Stay Together" - Label: Timeless Entertainment, Inc

EOTM ♪♪♬ Critic Score: 91 (out of 100)

Lourdes D. Baron knows there are two ways people think about her.  For some, she epitomizes all that has gone right…. in the world of a pop star, and for others there is a savory light in the eye of an entrepreneur, humanitarian, author, wife, mother. A woman partaking in her own ideas with the hopes of changing the world! These differing Lourdes Barons’ are all actually one in the same, and if you pay close attention you would notice they tend to show up in the same place at the same time. It’s that double whammy, a unique sometimes uncanny ubiquity many wish they could embody. Lourdes does this effortlessly.

Baron’s music career spans four albums to date, the most recent “Let’s Stay Together,” which made its debut, in the fall of 2016. On his new album, the singer-songwriter turns Al Green’s “Let’s Stay Together,” into a formative funktastic 21st century soul session.

“I recorded vocals with my eyes closed. I wanted to envision Al Green NEXT to me … Coaching me,” Baron shared in a recent interview.

Sounding like nothing else out there, distinct even from Al Green, Barons take on Let’s Stay Together  is matchless, sexy without being over bearing and next level out while being street corner down. A superb swansong.

Lourdes delivers obstinately, with wit and indubious charm while belting words we remember, “Why people break up, to turn around and make up, I just can’t see, you NEVER do that to me — You better NOT do — staying around you is all I can see – All these eyes will ever see….” As she withdraws purring with ‘Lets Stay Together,’ – Okay…??

A heart achingly true ole school type hard core love song from way back. The artiste continues unabated, recalling a season of good and bad …in such a way….dare I say, Al Green and crooners of his countenance, could not possibly duplicate….unless – well, they happen to live a well balanced life. It’s in the tone, not necessarily the words which almost always have dual meaning. A well constructed arrangement of harmonious vibrations, confabulating it’s own type of amour. The acclaimed singer truly dug deep into her emotions and talents for this one, doing so with boldness and grace (with eyes closed, as she says) helping accent a reoccurring message of perseverance, love and forgiveness.

Barons voice is like a candle of hope  in a world that could use a little more light. The Diva and her musical team have an astounding knack for melody and retro-influenced instrumentation all under 4 minutes. “Let’s Stay Together” brings the jangle and hook to the forefront.

No filler – all killer here. NO excuses – get it now!

All Life is Sacred & without Universal Compassion..there is No TRUE Progress

”If you want to awaken all of humanity, then awaken all of yourself, if you want to eliminate the suffering in the world, then eliminate all that is dark and negative in yourself. Truly, the greatest gift you have to give is that of your own self-transformation.” – Lao Tzu

All Life is Sacred

I was recently researching online and found an amazing site that shares love and hope for humanity. Considering this message is up my alley of to do’s — I felt the need to share! A few excerpts can be read below – please visit this site for full article.

The author describes her four reasons for hope for saving endangered species as “our quite extraordinary intellect, the resilience of nature, the energy and commitment of informed young people who are empowered to act, and the indomitable human spirit.” She believes that the abilities of people combined with the resilience of nature and dedicated individuals can turn back the damage we have caused to the earth’s species.  She tells brief stories of restoration that gives evidence that it is really possible to repair what scars we have caused.  A story from Kenya that took a barren waste to a self-sustaining habitat for thirty endangered species; a six year old’s dream of putting the trees back on a mountain; logging damage restoration; and the massive clean ups of various rivers and lakes that were so drastic that they were lifeless, but were full of life after restoration practices.  She goes on to tell about China and how the people lost hope in the conservation of the environment that is made even worse by the fact that the country contains a fifth of the Earth’s population.  People have made a big move from farming villages to the city in search of jobs and money. The cities have spread and the environment suffered.  There has been efforts to repair the damage and conservation has begun to progress and land has been set aside just to be nature and not for some kind of monetary use.  Her point is to tell us that it is never too late to repair damage done to the earth. It appears, the author also believes that if more people got out into nature, and found a species or place to fall in love with, more help and conservation would be seen.  People who love a wild animal feel obligated to help them live where they belong.  Those that don’t care about animals or nature see endangered species as “just a bug” or “just a bird.”

What do you believe? In your opinion — What difference would it make to you  — if many of the animals on Earth were to go extinct? Should every creature have value, even if that value is just to exist…?  We would love to read your thoughts in the comments section below.

Lourdes Baron helps us to Fall in Love with Jazz, again — EOTM Music Reviews

” It pulled me like a magnet, Jazz did, because it was a way that I could express myself.” — Herbie Hancock

Lourdes Duque Baron: All That Jazz

First Listen: Lourdes D Baron, ‘Sinatra’

“The night is young, and it feels like, New York, New York,” Lourdes D Baron croons, “I just want to hear some Sinatra, Some Sinatra,” and she’s got a point. “The Feeling Good At Any Age,” Los Angeles Music Awards winning singer is instantly identifiable. To put it pointedly, there is none other like her. This is a fact. That very first time, this is how you will know…remember. How you will recognize. Whether she’s singing from the bottom or the top of her heart… where the sounds soars way up into the recesses of the nights sky or the morning dew…. you can bet your bottom dollar it reaches those that resonate with the distinct sounds of jazz, yes jazz, the sound of love, of music, that thing that makes the world go round. Yes Sir! There is nothing better. Than LOVE.

Lourdes D Baron - Sinatra

Three years into her career, she’s let the volume dip a bit, but moments of vein-bulging intensity remain.  “As we look at the skyline and I say, man that’s life,” the ole 20′s twang surrounds the deep distinctive yowl with an assortment of new age melodies. At times, the arrangements are downright jarring, as when her deep throaty vocals let fly with some seriously old-fashioned interjections — the repetition of “I just want to hear some Sinatra, some Sinatra. I don’t care where we go.” Or the echoes of “You can fly me to the moon” and “You are such a delight and I like the way you look tonight,” resonance moving amiably along until it builds to one of Baron’s best rafter-rattling bellows. “I just want five minutes more but make it last forever. No Elvis tonight, no now, no never.” A sense of ramshackle playfulness buoys “Sinatra”, as if Baron had made a decision upfront to leave no genre or jazz-music era off-limits in the songwriting and recording process. But this is no mere exercise. Baron use nods to the past as a means of placing her voice at the center of something truly unexpected — remarkable. She may use the same voice she’s always had, but her and her collaborators are still coming up with new ways for people to hear it.” Sinatra gets 5 stars from me!!!!!   Cheers, cheers to you Lourdes Baron.

Be Grateful for the Explicable ~ The Law of One

By Higher Self

The best way to be of service to others has been explicitly covered in previous material. We will iterate briefly. The best way of service to others is the constant attempt to seek to share the love of the Creator as it is known to the inner self. This involves self knowledge and the ability to open the self to the other-self without hesitation. This involves, shall we say, radiating that which is the essence or the heart of the mind/body/spirit complex. Speaking to the intention of your question, the best way for each seeker in third density to be of service to others is unique to that mind/body/spirit complex. This means that the mind/body/spirit complex must then seek within itself the intelligence of its own discernment as to the way it may best serve other-selves. This will be different for each. There is no best. There is no generalization. Nothing is known.” — The Law of One, Author: Ra ~ Your Most Humble Servant

The video below is by Dutchsinse on Youtube. Please note, this stream is showing the past 48 hours of USGS reported earthquakes + the last 50 EMSC reported earthquakes internationally. (From the date initially reported — August 27, 2016)

No voice in this video unless a large earthquake strikes. Marker height off the globe = depth into the Earth. The feed may show double earthquakes in some locations due to both USGS + EMSC agencies reporting the events. When an earthquake strikes, you will hear a rumble, ding, and a bell toll. The bell will toll the number of times = to the earthquake which occurs. (example : M4.0 will ring 4 times). • Build an Earthquake Preparedness Kit. Plan. Always be one step ahead of danger.

A disaster supply kit is simply a collection of basic items your household may need in the event of an emergency. Try to assemble your kit well in advance of an emergency. You may have to evacuate at a moment’s notice and take essentials with you. You will probably not have time to search for the supplies you need or shop for them. You may need to survive on your own after an emergency. This means having your own food, water and other supplies in sufficient quantity to last for at least 2 weeks. Local officials and relief workers will be on the scene after a disaster but they cannot reach everyone immediately. Additionally, basic services such as electricity, gas, water, sewage treatment and telephones may be cut off for days or even a week, or longer. Your supply kit should contain items to help you manage during these outages.

Being prepared means being equipped with the proper supplies you may need in the event of an emergency or disaster. Keep your supplies in an easy-to-carry emergency preparedness kit that you can use at home or take with you in case you must evacuate.
At a minimum, you should have the basic supplies listed below:

  • Water: one gallon per person, per day (3-day supply for evacuation, 2-week supply for home)
  •  Food: non-perishable, easy-to-prepare items (3-day supply for evacuation, 2-week supply for home)
  •   Flashlight [Available on the Red Cross Store]
  •  Battery-powered or hand-crank radio (NOAA Weather Radio, if possible) [Available on the Red Cross Store]
  •  Extra batteries
  •  First aid kit
  •  Medications (7-day supply) and medical items
  •  Multi-purpose tool
  •  Sanitation and personal hygiene items
  •  Copies of personal documents (medication list and pertinent medical information, proof of address, deed/lease to home, passports, birth certificates, insurance policies)
  •  Cell phone with chargers
  •  Family and emergency contact information
  •  Extra cash
  •  Emergency blanket
  •  Map(s) of the area
  • Compass

Consider the needs of all family members and add supplies to your kit. Suggested items to help meet additional needs are:

  • Medical supplies (hearing aids with extra batteries, glasses, contact lenses, syringes, etc)
  •  Baby supplies (bottles, formula, baby food, diapers)
  •  Games and activities for children
  •  Pet supplies (collar, leash, ID, food, carrier, bowl)
  •  Two-way radios
  •  Extra set of car keys and house keys
  •  Manual can opener

Additional supplies to keep at home or in your survival kit based on the types of disasters common to your area:

  •  Whistle
  • Gas or surgical masks
  •  Matches
  •   Rain gear
  •  Towels/Wet Wipes
  •  Work gloves
  •  Tools/supplies for securing your home
  •  Extra clothing, hat and sturdy shoes
  •  Plastic sheeting
  •  Duct tape/electrical tape
  •  Scissors
  •  Household liquid bleach
  •  Books/Entertainment items
  •  Blankets or sleeping bags

Best Movie Quotes: Film – Beta Test (Directed by Nicholas Gyeney)

“One thing we must acknowledge as a leader in this field is our responsibility to shape our society. If you look where we’ve come, or arguably where we’ve fallen to, you have to ask yourself, what happened to our humanity and where did it go? In my new position, my focus is to return the spotlight to the gamers. I find that the single most important thing. And hopefully if we’re smart enough, we can remind our consumers to engage in balance, to remember what makes them human in the first place. In between missions of course. ” — Movie: Beta Test (Character Max Troy played by Larenze Tate)

“Any ambitious man would dream of reaching the top. To deny that would deny my own humanity, I think. Andrew Kincaid was a god in his own world, and any god who is obsessed with his own power sets himself up for his own demise. And that power falls on his angels. Someone had to take up the reigns. All we can do is hope for a fresh perspective. Ultimately it’s up to us to enter this world, to take up that controller, to make those decisions. Ultimately it’s your quarter.” — Movie: Beta Test (Character Max Troy played by Larenze Tate)

Compassion and Empathy is something Humanity must not lose…

Healing The Heart ....

Today, video games play a big role in many of our lives — as it is often the go to source of entertainment. It’s been proven that in a large number of American households  there is little fun time spent -aside from playing sports outside -without an X Box, Nintendo or Sony controller in the hand — and most recently, smart phones….and for good reason…?? As there is no denying that for many, video games can be incredibly fun to play. I still remember to this day how immersed I became in games such as Super Mario and Pac Man — all of which managed to preoccupy countless hours of my childhood. With the gaming industry capabilities consistently improving I find it interesting to explore just how big of a role video games play in our modern society and whether or not they are having any lasting effects on those who play them. According to a study released by statista in September of 2014, global video game revenues exceed $100 billion, with $6.1 billion of that being generated by video game sales in the United States alone.(1) These already staggering numbers become even more surprising when one takes into consideration the state of the US economy. How much of that $100 billion is being spent by families and individuals who cannot comfortably afford to buy that $59.99 game or that $349.99 system? In terms of time — which is arguably our most precious commodity -in 2013 the average US gamer over the age of 13 spent 6.3 hours a week playing video games -which is up from an average of 5.6 hours spent in 2012.(2) Violence, in some way shape or form has been a predominant theme in the world of video games for quite sometime. The numbers support the basis whereas the action and shooter genres, which account for a combined 51.9% of video game sales in the US in 2013. Even if masked under the intentions of playing a hero whose sole purpose is to destroy a series of “enemies” to save the world, violence is violence and gamers seem to love to engage in it virtually.

So, it would not be presumptuous to add that many of the  video games we see and interact with today allow gamers to be as brutal as they like — within a very realistic scenario. Users can simply go up to someone — on any given street and attack them, use their vehicles to run a person down, and or even carjack them. Sexism, violence and hatred are the video game industries biggest proponents today. It seems the goal is to systematically desensitize and erode our natural empathy, our innate state of being — of oneness. Sadly, what we are seeing today are individuals being brutalized on any given street corner by someone — and passerbys simply standing by and doing nothing. In many of these cases there is hardly ever anyone coming forward to help. Why is this? Could all this violence that is engaged in virtually by so many of us worldwide be creating some sort of dark effect on us? And most importantly, is it desensitizing us? Why are we allowing this to happen? I can remember back in the day, before all this new technology arrived whereas our very own pocket communities banned together to assist one another in times of need. We sought out, maybe only **subconsciously— to be a service to others, our neighbors, friends and humanity as a whole. With this being said, I guess the only question that really needs answering is: What can we do to reconnect with our heart?? A 2011 study out of the University of Missouri-Columbia looked at the long recognized belief held by many scientists that playing violent video games can cause players to become more aggressive in their daily life. The researchers measured brain responses as they showed the participants a series of neutral and violent photos. The final stage allowed the participants to compete against an opponent in a controllable task that allowed them to choose how aggressively they would blast their opponent with sound. Researchers found that those who played a violent video game were more aggressive in their blast by comparison to those who played a non-violent game. Another study in the publication Social Psychological and Personality Science, found that aggression triggered by video games can last for up to 24 hours after the game is played -if the player continues to think about the game. The authors of the study noted that violent gamers often play for a lot longer than the 20 minutes they were allotted in this particular study, making it more likely that they let thoughts of it marinate within their mind habitually. Several authorities, including the US Supreme Court, the US Surgeon General, the Federal Trade Commission and Federal Communications Commission all stand on the side of there being no causal link between violent video games and violent behaviour. Any theories to the contrary they state are a myth, and in response have compiled a list of research to support this stance. They do advise however that individuals -especially parents -make informed decisions about what they do and do not choose to expose themselves to. Each game is subject to a rating and suggested age range, and all major gaming systems are required to have programmable parental controls. As with so many other things in the world today, I’m finding that the best solution always lies within. When deciding whether or not to expose yourself to violent video games, observe how you feel when you play them. Scan your heart. Are they purely an entertaining experience that you are easily able to disconnect from? Or are they an escape that allows you to release frustrations, negative feelings and emotions? I’d also advise to look within when deciding whether or not play video games at all. Observe your behavioral patterns to see whether you are simply engaging in an available form of entertainment or if it has become a habitual decision. Be sure to be honest with yourself when analyzing this as well, as you won’t be doing anyone a favor by masking how playing as much as you do makes you feel. I personally do not think that video games are inherently good or bad. They aren’t for everyone, and there is a time and place for them for those who enjoy them. It’s up to us to decipher just how much and when that is, if at all. Ultimately, it should never be okay to advocate any kind of violence in video games — regardless of how the 1 percent spins it. “We Must Learn The Ways of Love” — Law of One, Ra

What’s interesting to me is when a person with some sort of Celebrity status tweets or posts a topic to their fans/followers pertaining to the occult (hidden knowledge) — they are deemed cool and hip and their posts are re-tweeted and shared with the masses, but when a person you/they may know…. and purportedly love… shares something similar, they are labeled poor saps, ignorant, and deemed devil worshipers, backsliders in need of an intervention of sorts.

This type of thinking, in a word: Insane.

This is something I/We/You may never be able to fathom, or maybe We will….. because if we are honest and look back a bit into our past… we may find it was not that long ago when we have felt that very same way.

What’s that saying? Back then we did, but now we don’t…?? (shrugs)

The Eye of Horus (see above) is an ancient Egyptian symbol of protection and good health and is believed to have healing and protective power. It has often been used as a protective amulet. It was also used as a notation of measurement, particularly for measuring the ingredients in medicines and pigments. The symbol was divided into six parts, representing the shattering of Horus´ eye into six pieces. Each piece was associated with one of the six senses and a specific fraction.

What is your Truth? Is it something you have sought after throughout your life? Or has it been a constant companion? Please share with us below in the comments.
