Being a successful entrepreneur frequently involves a series of missteps and mistakes before finally nailing the right idea or business. The difference, for many, between giving up and persisting through the toughest times can be getting advice from people who have done it before — and being smart enough to listen.

It’s our human nature — to actually enjoy helping others, so we asked SUCCESSFUL ‘Entrepreneurs On The Move’ group members to share the best advice they ever got.

Last nights (Dec. 7 )episode of Saturday Night Live, comedic veteran Kristen Wiig returned to the show that made her a household name to reprise the role of Judice — the girl with the large forehead, quirky style and awkward sentiments.

We would have never imagined that combining a spoof of the NBC musical with Wiig’s Dooneese would work, but it mostly did. We have to admit that we’re not the biggest fan of the Dooneese character compared to Wiig’s others, but this was a good use of her and even Fred Armisen in a tiny cameo.
Yes… SNL had no problem spoofing the much talked-about production. Though they didn’t directly reference Underwood or the talk around her performance, SNL cast member Kate McKinnon stepped up to play her role as Maria Von Trapp.

Taran Killiam took on the role of Captain Von Trapp (which True Blood‘s Stephen Moyer played in the live show), and SNL vet Fred Armisen returned at the end of the clip as the Von Trapp family friend Max Detweiler, and along with Wiig declared, “Live from New York, it’s Saturday night!”

The star of ‘Fast and Furious’ Paul Walker died after the vehicle he was riding in crashed into a tree. He was 40 years old. TMZ broke the story first.

Walker was in the passenger seat of a 2005 Porsche Carrera GT, driven by a racing team partner, that slammed into a light pole and burst into flames in an office park in the community of Valencia in Santa Clarita, about 30 miles north of Hollywood.

Walker’s publicist Ame van Iden confirmed his death Saturday. The driver, identified by CNN affiliate KCAL-TV as Roger Rodus, also died.

“Sadly, I must confirm that Paul did pass away this afternoon in a car accident.”

A post on Walker’s Facebook page said, “It is with a truly heavy heart that we must confirm that Paul Walker passed away today in a tragic car accident while attending a charity event for his organization Reach Out Worldwide. He was a passenger in a friend’s car, in which both lost their lives. We appreciate your patience as we too are stunned and saddened beyond belief by this news. Thank you for keeping his family and friends in your prayers during this very difficult time. We will do our best to keep you apprised on where to send condolences. – #TeamPW”

Universal conveyed its condolences to Walker’s family, saying, “All of us at Universal are heartbroken. Paul was truly one of the most beloved and respected members of our studio family for 14 years, and this loss is devastating to us, to everyone involved with the ‘Fast and Furious’ films, and to countless fans. We send our deepest and most sincere condolences to Paul’s family.”

The Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station confirmed in a statement to EOTM Media that there were indeed two fatalities in a traffic collision at approximately 3:30 p.m. Saturday. When deputies arrived, the vehicle was engulfed in flames. The Los Angeles Country Fire Department extinguished the flames, and two victims were pronounced dead at the scene.

Speed was a factor in the crash, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office said. A 45 mph speed limit sign was attached to the light pole knocked down by the Porsche.

The actor had been taking people on test drives to raise money for victims of the typhoon in the Philippines, TMZ reported.

Walker was currently filming the seventh film in the “Fast and Furious” franchise. On November 29, the actor tweeted: “The boys are back. Will you be ready?”

The film is set to release in 2014. Walker first broke out in Hollywood in the late 90s films Pleasantville and Varsity Blues. He then went on to appear in She’s All That, The Skulls, and first joined the Fast and the Furious franchise in 2001. The actor reprised his role as Brian O’Conner in Fast & Furious 6 in 2013. Fast & Furious 7 was announced for a 2014 debut.

There was a growing memorial at the crash site as people paid their respects.

Tyrese Gibson, ‘Fast & Furious’ costar and friend to Walker, was photographed crying with a flower in hand during his emotional visit to the Santa Clarita, Calif., road where Walker  and his business partner Rodas died on Saturday.

34 dead in clashes amid rival demonstrations in Egypt

Follow us: @eotmonline on Twitter | EOTM.Media on Facebook

At least 34 people have been killed and dozens hurt in Egypt in clashes between police and supporters of the deposed Islamist President Mohammed Morsi.

More than 200 members of the Muslim Brotherhood were arrested in Cairo, where 26 of the deaths were reported.

The rival protests in Cairo turned into running street battles

Supporters of Mr Morsi marched in several cities, as the military-backed government marked the 40th anniversary of the 1973 Arab-Israeli war.

Morsi supporters say he was deposed in a military coup in July.

Hundreds of people had gathered in Cairo’s Tahrir Square to celebrate the anniversary.

Jets and Apache helicopters flew overhead in formation, as part of a grand display of military hardware by the government.

The crowd cheered the flypasts, a number of people carrying portraits of defence chief Gen Abdel Fattah al-Sisi. Some want him to stand as Egypt’s next president.

But the BBC’s Quentin Sommerville in Cairo says supporters of Mr Morsi also took to the streets in their thousands, trying to make their way to the square and calling Gen Sisi a murderer.

Security forces used tear gas and fired into the air to stop them.

In the upmarket Dokki district, a number of protesters were hit by live rounds, some by birdshot. In return they threw rocks at police and soldiers, our correspondent says.

The street battles raged for hours, with small fires burning and black smoke rising in several parts of the capital.

But the military succeeded in keeping the rival supporters apart, our correspondent says.

The interior ministry earlier warned it would confront any “attempts that may disturb the 6 October celebrations”, the Mena state news agency reported.

In a televised address, Prime Minister Hazem Beblawi described it as a “critical time” for the country and urged Egyptians to “stand together, be optimistic about the future”.

The health ministry said that in addition to the Cairo deaths, one person was killed in Delga, about 300km (190 miles) south of Cairo, and another in Bani Suef, 80km south of the capital.

There were also clashes in the Suez Canal city of Ismailiya.

Hundreds of Islamist protesters have died in violence since the Egyptian military deposed Mr Morsi in July, 13 months after he was elected as president.

He and other senior Brotherhood figures have been imprisoned and face trial.

The authorities are moving to seize the movement’s assets after its activities were banned as part of a crackdown.

However, Brotherhood supporters have continued to take to the streets to protest – albeit in smaller numbers than before.
