Singer, Author Lourdes Duque Baron has been nominated for two LA Music Awards: Female Vocalist of the Year and Record of the Year, it was announced Thursday.

The award winning author debut album, ‘Feeling Good At Any Age,’ focuses on the themes of funky feel good Bebop; amour, the pursuit of enchantment, living life’s passions, throwing all doubt to the wind. “Music can be our primary method, mode and means of living our dreams and achieving peace,” explains Lourdes. “Music is God’s perfect form of communication because what comes from the heart reaches the heart,” she added.

Baron is definitely living in the midst of her greatness, taking home an EOTM Award in 2013 for her book Scripted in Heaven, the 67 year old Diva has literally taken Feeling Good At Any Age to a whole new level. We look forward to reading and writing more about Lourdes in the future.

The singer isn’t the only LA Music Award nominee with a Motownish classic Doo Wop Bebop sizzle — her producer, Grammy Award Winner Andrew Lane is up for Producer of the Year at the 2014 LA Music Awards as well.
