As 2013 comes to a close, we’d like to remember some of Hollywood’s most legendary entertainers and biggest personalities from around the world that passed away this past year. Among the icons we’ve lost are Roger Ebert, Nelson Mandela, Peter O’Toole, Paul Walker, Lee Thompson, Cory Monteith, James Gandolfini, Jay Leggett, Sylvia Browne, Lou Reed, Marcia Wallace, Chris Kelly, Otis Harris, Ed Koch, Jerry Buss and countless others. Actor Peter O’Toole, best known for his role in Lawrence of Arabiapassed away on Saturday at his home in London. He was 81. His long time agent Steve Kenis initially shared the news.

(CNN)David “Kidd” Kraddick, whose morning radio show aired in nearly 100 cities, has died. He was 53.

He died Saturday in New Orleans at a golf tournament to raise money for his Kidd’s Kids Charity, his management company said.

Musician and songwriter J.J. Cale passed away on Friday in La Jolla, Calif. He was 74.

Actor Jim Kelly of ‘Enter The Dragon,’ Dies

Otis “Damon” Harris, former member of the Temptations has passed away, he was 62.

According to the Baltimore Sun, the singer reportedly passed away last Monday (Feb. 18) after a 14-year battle with prostate cancer, Harris was in remission until three years ago.

It’s a very sad day in the world of country music, singer Mindy McCready has died. According to a police report from the Cleburne County Sheriff’s Office in Arkansas, deputies responded to a report of gun shots fired on Sunday afternoon. Upon arriving, officers reportedly found Mindy McCready’s body on the front porch and pronounced her dead at the scene from what appeared to be “a single self-inflicted gunshot wound.”
